How to make a signature
- Fill in your detailsOnly what you want shown: empty fields are left out.
- Add a photo or logoPaste the web address of an image that's already online, such as one on your own website.
- Pick colour and layoutYour brand colour for the links and divider, photo beside or above.
- Copy it into your email appCopy signature, then paste into Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail's signature settings.
Good to know
Adding it to Gmail
Settings (the cog) > See all settings > General > Signature > Create new. Paste with Cmd or Ctrl + V, then Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Adding it to Outlook
Outlook on the web and new Outlook: Settings > Account > Signatures, paste and save. Classic Outlook for Windows: File > Options > Mail > Signatures > New, then paste.
Adding it to Apple Mail
Mail > Settings > Signatures, choose the account, click + and paste. Untick Always match my default message font so your colours and font are kept. On iPhone: Settings > Apps > Mail > Signature.
Why the photo needs a web address
Email apps handle pictures inside a signature very differently: an attached image often turns into a file attachment or is blocked. An image loaded from a web address is the most reliable. Upload it to your website (around 200 x 200 px, under 50 KB) and paste its address.

Is the email signature generator free?
Yes. No sign-up, no branding added to your signature, and you can make as many as you like.
Will my signature look the same in every email app?
As close as email allows. It's built from tables with styles written into every line, the way email apps expect, and uses fonts every computer has.
Why doesn't my photo show?
The image address must be public: open it in a private browser window to check. Some email apps hide images until the reader allows them.
Can I use a logo instead of a photo?
Yes. Paste the web address of your logo instead. Untick Round photo for a logo.
Are social media icons included?
Social links are text links in your accent colour, which every email app shows. Icon images are often blocked or shown as attachments, so text is more reliable.
Is my information sent anywhere?
No. The signature is made in your browser and nothing you type leaves your device.
